Connecting to a Sharelink (Wireless Presenter) using a computer

Overview

This article explains how to connect your computer to a Sharelink device within a classroom.

What materials do I need?

• A classroom with the "Wireless Presenter" option available on the touch panel.
• A computer connected to the UAA Network
• Web browser

How do I use this technology?

1. Press the Wireless Presenter option on the touch panel.
    
    
2. Enter the IP address listed on the screen in your browser and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software. 
   
    
3. After the installation is complete, open the ShareLink application.
   
   The software begins an automatic search process which usually will fail. 
   
    
4. Choose Manual on the screen.
   
   
    
5. Enter the IP address for the device in the room and the code displayed on the screen in step 2.
6. Click Connect
   
   
    
7. Click the large play button to share to screen
