Contract extensions typically occur during the summer and can be ended in one of two ways:
- Faculty goes off contract when contract extension ends
- Submit one job form using the date the off-contract period begins (typically a Sunday)
- Change Reason: OCB (Off Contract Begin)
- Status: B (Leave without Pay with Benefits)
- Notation: Include note showing that Contract Extension ended on mm/dd (date)
- No appointment letter is needed
- Faculty returns to primary, base contract when contract extension ends
- Submit an EPAF to return the faculty member to their base contract.
- Option 1: On Contract / Term (for term funded faculty)
- Option 2: On Contract / Off Contract (for tenure or tenure track faculty)
