Enable macOS PrinterLogic Chrome/Edge Extension

Summary

Information on how to enable the PrinterLogic / Vasion Print Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge browser extension on macOS.

Body

Overview

The PrinterLogic software leverages a browser extension associated with your default web browser. If you receive a message that the Printer Installer Client is not installed within the Chrome web browser, then follow the instructions below to verify that the browser extension has been enabled for your account. In most cases on a university owned computer this is all that is necessary.

Important
The PrinterLogic browser extension should install automatically. You do not need to follow the steps on this page unless you see an alert telling you that the extension is not installed.
Tip
The PrinterLogic browser extension used by Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are effectively identical. If installed in one browser, it usually only needs to be activated in the other browser.
