Overview
If you find yourself regularly referencing a Knowledge Base article, or using a service in the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Client Portal, you can add it to your favorites to quickly access it in the future. While the ESM system does keep track of favorites for Services and Knowledge Base articles separately, favorites across different service portals can be easily accessed from any service portal providing quick access to resources regardless of which service portal you're in, and which service portal the resource resides.

How do I use this technology?
Add an Article or Service to Favorites
- Navigate to the ESM Service Portal at https://service.alaska.edu/TDClient/
- When prompted, Sign In with your UA Identity.
- Access the desired Knowledge Base article, or Service Catalog page that you would like to make a favorite.
- On the right side of the page, click Add to Favorites.
- The service/article will be added to your favorites list, and the button label will be changed to say Remove from Favorites.
Access Favorites
- Navigate to the ESM Service Portal at https://service.alaska.edu/TDClient/
- When prompted, login with your UA Identity.
- At the top of the page, click Services or Knowledge Base depending on which Favorites you want to view.
- On the sub-menu that appears, click My Favorites.
- To open a favorite article, or service, click its name.
Remove a Favorite
- Navigate to the ESM Service Portal at https://service.alaska.edu/TDClient/
- When prompted, login with your UA Identity.
- At the top of the page, click Services or Knowledge Base depending on which Favorites you want to view.
- On the sub-menu that appears, click My Favorites.
- Locate the desired article, or service you want to remove, then to the right of the name click Remove.
- You can also click Remove from Favorites when viewing the KB article, or service page.
Need additional help or have issues
For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Service form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by UAA Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
