Install Cisco Jabber on macOS

Overview

This article will walk you through the steps need to successfully install the Cisco Jabber application on a computer running macOS.

What materials do I need?

• Your campus phone line must be configured for Jabber use.

How do I use this technology?

1. Download the Jabber client for macOS.
2. Open the CiscoJabber.dmg disk image.
   
   
    
3. Double-click the CiscoJabberMac-<version>.pkg.
4. At the Installer's Introduction screen click Continue.
   
   
    
5. At the License screen, click Continue.
   
   
    
6. When prompted, click Agree.
   
   
    
7. At the Installation Type screen, click Install.
   
   
    
8. When prompted, enter the username, and password of an account that has local administrator access, then click Install Software.
   
   
    
9. After the installer completes, click the Close button.
   
   
    
10. When prompted to retain the installer file, click Move to trash.
    
    

Congratulations, the Cisco Jabber application is now installed. Proceed to the next step to login to the Cisco Jabber client.

Next Steps
