Delete a Response Template

This article will provide guidance to Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Application Administrators on how to delete unused response templates.

Overview

Over time departments may find that some response templates are no longer useful, or relevant. Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Application Administrators can delete these unnecessary response templates as appropriate.

What materials do I need?

  • Internet access
  • Web browser
  • ESM App Admin permissions

How do I use this technology?

To delete a response template do the following:

  1. Login to ESM TDNext.
  2. Open the desired ticketing app.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Admin.
  5. Click Response Templates.
  6. Locate the desired Response Template and click Delete next to the right of the template's name.
  7. A dialog window will appear asking if Are you sure you want to delete this response template? This cannot be undone. If you want to coninute deleting the template click Ok, otherwise click Cancel.

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
