Overview
This is a walkthrough on how to login to the Softphone (Cisco Jabber) client on your Windows computer.
Before you can login to
Jabber, your campus phone line must be configured for
Jabber use. For assistance getting your campus phone number configured for
Jabber, contact the IT Services Technical Support Center via phone at
(907) 786-4646, toll-free at
(877) 633-3888, email us at
uaa.techsupport@alaska.edu, or you can use the Seawolf Support Portal to submit a
Request Softphone Access ticket.
What materials do I need?
- A campus phone number configured for Jabber use.
- A Windows computer with Jabber installed.
How do I Login to Jabber?
- Open the Cisco Jabber client.
- Enter your UaUsername@uaa.alaska.edu and click Continue.
- Make sure it has your UaUsername only. Enter your UA Password and click Sign In.
