Project Managers can specify visibility of project information on the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Service Portals

Service Portal Visibility

Project managers can adjust the settings on their projects to govern who can see details for the project.

  • Public, visible to all individuals, even those that did not login to the Service Portal
  • Visible to individuals that have login to the Service Portal, and have the View Projects permission
  • Visible to individuals that have login to the Service Portal, and are on the project, or are listed as a stakeholder

What Information do Stakeholders See

The following information is visible on the Service Portal based upon the Service Portal visibility settings.

  • Project Name
  • Project Status
  • Project start and end dates
  • Percent complete
  • Most recent update comments
  • Project Manager, Alternate Managers, and Sponsor
  • Project Department
  • Project Type
  • Project Health
  • Programs and/or Portfolios that the project is part of
  • Project Priority
  • Created and Modified Dates
  • Custom attributes that are configured as Client Visible
  • Description
  • Strategic Objectives
  • Organizational Risks

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
