Overview
Within an Enterprise Service Management (ESM) project Links can be used to reference documentation and other information sources that are not included in the project's briefcase.

- Internet connectivity
- Web browser
- Access to ESM TDWorkManagement
- Access to ESM Project application
Create a New Link
To create a new web link:
- In TDWorkManagement, open the Projects application.
- Click the appropriate Project in the left navigation.
- From the left sub navigation, click Links.
- Click the +New button on the Links page.
- In the New Link window, enter a Title.
- Paste the URL.
- Select a Category from the dropdown or create a new one by clicking the plus button on the right side of the field.
- Click the Notification field and begin to type a user’s name or select someone from the dropdown.
- Enter a Description for the web link if desired.
- Click the Save button.
Edit a Link
To edit an existing link:
- Navigate to TDWorkManagement > Projects > [Project Name] > Links.
- Click the Web Link title in the list.
- Click the Edit button at the top of the Link Details window.
- Update the link details.
- Click the Save button.
Forward a Link
To forward a link:
- Navigate to TDWorkManagement > Projects > [Project Name] > Links.
- Click the Web Link title in the list.
- In the Link Detail window, click the Actions button and select Forward from the dropdown.
- In the email window containing the link details, enter any recipients, add your own message and any attachments if desired.
- Click the Send button.
Open/View a Link in a Browser
To open a link in a new browser window:
- Navigate to TDWorkManagement > Projects > [Project Name] > Links.
- Click View next to the Web Link title in the list.
The Read By Feature
Project members and managers can view a history of who viewed a link and when they viewed it.
To view the Read By history:
- Navigate to TDWorkManagement > Projects > [Project Name] > Links.
- Click the Web Link title in the list.
- Review the list of users who have viewed the link in the Read By section of the Link Details window.
Delete a Link
To delete a web link:
- Navigate to TDWorkManagement > Projects > [Project Name] > Links.
- Click the Web Link title in the list.
- In the Link Detail window, click the Actions button and select Delete from the dropdown.
- Click OK on the confirmation message.
Need additional help or have issues
For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
