Overview
A project plan is used to track the variance of a project over its duration against the original plan - or baseline. This article will provide project manager's with a guide for creating a baseline on a project managed within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) system.
Important
A project may have at most ten (10) baselines associated with a project.
What materials do I need?
- Internet connectivity
- Web browser
- TDWorkManagement access
- Assigned as Project Manager, or Alternate Project Manager to the desired project
How do I use this technology?
- Login to UA ESM.
- Click Applications.
- Click Project.
- Click on the desired project name.
- On the project's Details page, click Actions.
- Click Add Baseline.
- In the Add Baseline dialog window, enter a succinct description in the Comments field about the baseline (e.g. Initial project baseline).
- Click Save.
Need additional help or have issues
For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
