Overview
All approved project requests within the University of Alaska (UA) Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) system are by default set as an active project; however, in a case where a project is not already active the it needs to be made active before work on the project to begins.
What materials do I need?
- Internet access
- A valid University of Alaska (UA) identity
- Access to ESM TDWorkManagement
How do I use this technology?
- Login to the UA ESM system.
- Click View Applications.
- Click Projects.
- In the left navigation, click Projects.
- In the Search text box, enter the desired text to search for, select the project activity status (i.e. Active, Inactive, Both) radio box.
- Click the Search button at the top of the window.
- In the search results list, click the Project Name.
- The Project Details window will open.
- Click the Actions button.
- From the drop-down menu, click Activate.
- Close the Project Details window.
- Click the Refresh link in the Projects/Workspaces toolbar.
The activated project will now appear in your list of projects in the Projects application, and has been added to your list of active projects in the left navigation pane.
Need additional help or have issues
For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management service. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
