Flat fee payments are used to compensate employees who are performing duties outside of their regular job duties in one singular event. The Flat Fee Payment Form should be completed and routed for department approvals.
NOTE: If the employee's regular job duties are similar to the event job duties, compensation for the event cannot be processed as additional pay. Either the hours worked should be added to an hourly employee's time sheet or a job may need to be set-up in order to pay the employee for the event.
