Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform for authorized university departments to create and manage marketing relationships and campaigns to targeted University audiences (all staff & faculty, current students of a particular college, alumni, etc.). The platform is capable of tracking and reporting on the success of a particular campaign (whether an email was opened, if a particular link was clicked, etc.).
Per UAA policy all UAA departments must use the Marketing Cloud platform in order to comply with various university, state, and federal data management requirements, as well as to improve efficiency and reduce costs associated with maintaining customer contact systems.
Authorized UAA employees can access the UAA Email Marketing Platform service.
UAA departments interested in utilizing the platform should submit an Email Marketing Platform ticket to facilitate department onboarding process.
