Set Project Expense Budget

Overview

Project expenses budget is the total amount of money planned to be spent on the project for expenses such as equipment, services, training, flights, hotels, etc. The project expense budget must first be set before any expenses can be added to the project.

What materials do I need?

  • Internet access
  • TDWorkManagement license
  • Project app access
  • Project Manager, or Alternate Project Manager role

How do I use this technology?

To set the expenses budget on a project do the following.

  1. Login to ESM TDWorkManagement.
  2. Click View Applications.
  3. Click Projects.
  4. Open the appropriate Project.
  5. The Project will open in a new application tab.
  6. In the left sub navigation menu, click General.
  7. Scroll down and expand the Time & Expenses section.
  8. In the expenses budget field, enter the total planned cost for non-labor (i.e. time) related elements associated with the project.
  9. Click Save.

Next Steps

Now that the project's expenses budget is set, expense accountsexpense forecasts, and expenses can not be added to the project.

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
