What is this article about?
Managed Print is the pay-to-print system utilized by the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) to manage many many printers available across various UAA campuses. The service promotes responsible printing and resource conservation by controlling abuse, waste, and costs. Students, staff, faculty, and guests are able to print to various printers from university computers, as well as their personally owned devices.

Submit a Job to Managed Print
There are several ways to submit a job to Managed Print.
- Using the pre-configured printers on university workstations in university libraries, classrooms, or computer labs (supports printing larger file sizes, and additional file formats)
- Send your print job to a specific email address from your UA email addresses (email with attached file(s) must be less than 25 MB)
- Upload your file via a web browser to the Print Center (file must be less than 51 MB)
Once the file(s) has been submitted, you are able to release the job from a supported location that supports the desired output. For example, a color print job could be released from any of the color printers at participating locations. A charge is assessed for any copy/print job at a Managed Print location.

Review your Managed Print Account
You can review your current funds available if you login to the UAA Print Center website. The Payment method section will display your total funds available, as well as the funds on individual accounts (e.g. Print Allocation, Wolfbucks, etc.) To review your print usage click the Activity button.
Is there any additional information I should know about?
For support, requests may be submitted anytime by Requesting Support for the Managed Print service. Support Requests are worked by Priority based on the Impact and Urgency of need as well as the order they are received by the IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
