Adjuncts: Concurrent Assignments

Adjuncts can be adjunct and temp staff (NT/XT) at the same time.

  • The FT assignment will be the primary assignment

  • If the temp assignment is hourly (NT), the adjunct assignment must be set up as hourly

Adjuncts can also be adjunct and regular staff (NR/CR/EX/XR) at the same time.

  • The staff assignment will be the primary assignment

  • The adjunct assignment will be FW Non-Union Represented

  • If the staff assignment is hourly (NR/CR), the adjunct assignment must also be hourly​​​​​

Adjuncts (FT/FW) may be able to maintain their exempt status under FLSA while being paid hourly as a NT under rare exceptions. Those exceptions must by approved by Compensation before they are submitted for entry into Banner. Please route the job form and justification for the exception to Compensation.
