The document presents the regulations pertaining to Promotions, Demotions, and Lateral Transfers. Along with guidance on salary administration and the job change reasons to use in these instances.
Note: Transfers occur when an employee moves into a different position with the same salary schedule. For example a L6070 employee transferring to a non-exempt staff position is not applicable to these processes. Neither is a temporary staff member moving into a non-exempt staff position since these positions are tied to two separate salary schedules.
