GitKraken is a multi-platform graphical interface for Git developed by Axosoft, as an alternative to using the command line, for macOS, Windows and Linux operating systems.
Departments interested in utilizing GitKraken must purchase license(s) applicable for their needs. The software publisher offers a free version that is available for solo developers working on public & local repos only.
Authorized Staff & Faculty can install GitKraken on university owned computers via the Software Center (macOS, Windows). Students, staff, and faculty can download the software for their personally owned devices from the software's website.
