Overview
The Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Mobile app can use the mobile device's camera to act as a barcode and QR code scanner. Throughout the mobile app, users can tap the barcode button in search and form fields to open the camera and scan a barcode or QR code.
What materials do I need?
- Access to ESM TDNext
- Access to a mobile device running Android, iOS, or iPadOS.
- TeamDynamix Mobile App installed on mobile device
- Web Browser
How do I use this technology?
Barcode scanning is available for the following asset fields:
- Serial Number
- Service Tag
- External ID
QR Code scanning supports opening a Ticket or Asset by scanning the QR code generated by TDNext for that item.

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
