Microsoft Project Education from Azure

Overview

For classes that need Microsoft Project for instruction or assignments. Follow the instructions to download and install Project. 

How do I use this technology?

1. Open a web browser
2. Go to https://portal.azure.com
3. Log in using your UA email address, password, and Duo MFA
4. Under "Azure services," click on "Education"
   
5. Click on "Learning resources" to expand the menu
   
6. Click on "Software"
7. In the "Search" box, type "project," and press "Enter"
   
8. Click on "Project Professional 2021 - DVD"
9. In the panel that opens
   
   1. Click the "View Key" button
   2. Copy the "Product key"
   3. Save it in a safe place
   4. Once the key is saved, click the "Download" button
   5. If prompted, pick a location and click the "Save" button
10. Once the download is finished, locate the downloaded ISO file
11. Right-click the ISO file, and click Mount
    
    1. If prompted with an "Open File - Security Warning," click the "Open" button
12. Double-click the "Setup" file
    
    1. If prompted with an "Open File - Security Warning," click the "Run" button
    2. If prompted with "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device," click "Yes"
       
13. Wait while Project installs
14. When the installation is complete, click the "Close" button
    
15. Open the Start menu and open Project
16. Enter the product key you saved from step 9.b

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Microsoft 365 support form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked on in order of receipt and urgency by UAA Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
