Does UAA offer MATLAB for free?
No. UAA does not offer MATLAB licenses for free or discounted prices to UAA students, staff, or faculty.

These licenses can only be used by System Office/University of Alaska (SO/UA) and the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) students, staff, and faculty. UAA students, staff, and faculty are not allowed to use these licenses.
Additionally, those websites are managed by the SW/UA Office of Information Technology (OIT).

For UAA students needing VDI or computer lab support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Support for Virtual Computer Environments or Questions or Assistance with Computer Labs form, respectively. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by UAA Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
