The Learning Management System is to deliver course content and interact with instructors and fellow students of a classes. It is primarily used for distance education classes that are taught entirely online but can also used for face-to-face or mixed classes. Functionality includes but us not limited to
- sharing documents
- assignments
- quizzes
- exams
- forums to ineract with fellow students and the instructor
- virtual office hours for instructors
- grades
Every UA Course is automatically provisioned course shells in the LMS with users automatically managed based on instructors assigned and students registered for the Section. Instructors and students of non-UA Courses are manually managed by those with the appropriate permissions to the class in the LMS.

Cost
The University of Alaska's learning management system is provided at no cost to departments or end users.
Availability
24 hours a day 7 days a week exclusions are,
- During scheduled updated or upgrades that require the system to be unavailable. You can see service availability on the UAA Service Status page.
Requirements
Supported By
This service is maintained and supported by UAA IT Services. Requests for support may be submitted anytime via the Request Support button on the right side of this page. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by the IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
