Data Center

The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) operates several data centers in order to provide the community a reliable and secure space to house their IT assets. UAA departments can request having a rack-mountable server placed in an UAA IT Data Center. Benefits of, alternatives, and fees for this service are detailed below. Colocation is especially appropriate for high-reliability mission-critical servers, large computational systems, or dedicated systems with special needs that cannot be accommodated by a virtual server.
