Software License Management

Information Technology Services can host and manage software licenses where deployed software applications would benefit from a central license service. This service provides automated software license hosting for applications that require it. Two hosting options are available: a shared server or a dedicated server.

A candidate for the shared hosting option must support the most recent Windows Server operating system (OS). The dedicated server option can be a proprietary OS provided by the vendor, or a current Windows OS.

Availability

Requests for new, or changes to existing, software license management servers are processed weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

Before submitting a ticket, please have the following information ready:

  • Software vendor name(s)
  • Points of contact for license(s)
  • Purpose for software

Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by the IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
