Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is the university’s official platform for email marketing and was adopted and implemented for use beginning in 2022. It supports targeted email communications to specific audiences such as faculty, staff, students, and alumni while maintaining the university's brand and style. The platform also provides powerful tools to track and report on campaign performance including email opens, link clicks, or event RSVPs.
As the officially designated enterprise solution for email marketing and contact data management for UAA, Salesforce Marketing Cloud is the only approved system for these activities. The use or purchase of alternative platforms (eg. MailChimp or Constant Contact) is not permitted, and existing use of alternative platforms will be phased out.

- UAA Employees, Staff, and Faculty
Requirements
- Active UA Identity/Account with permission to access this platform.
- Device with internet access and a web browser (suggested browsers are Chrome, Firefox, and Safari).
Cost
The cost of Salesforce Marketing Cloud is defined by Advancement and managed by ITS through recharge billing. The university will be working to identify potential opportunities to subsidize the cost to make Salesforce Marketing Cloud as affordable to departments as possible.

Availability
This is a cloud based application and is available to use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Except during the regularly scheduled maintenance Window.
