2023 Bulk Buy ordering is open March 27th through April 7th
UAA departments, including UAA community campuses, and UA units located in the Anchorage area have the opportunity to purchase Dell computers, laptops and monitors at highly discounted prices. Equipment will be ordered via Req/PO and encumbered/billed directly to the department’s fund/org.
The computers offered are Business Class computers that are built with higher quality components that are expected to last five years or more. Purchases include a five-year labor and parts warranty included on Dell computers and monitors.
Eligible Peoples
All orders must be submitted by persons with one of the below roles.

For University business use only, no personal orders.
Requirements
- Fund & Org to charge the purchase to, Fund-2s are limited to Foundation funds only.
- Individual placing order is responsible for verifying their department’s fiscal technician’s approval
Important
Fund/orgs will be checked for available budget. If the account does not have sufficient funds an NSF override will automatically be processed by the UAA Budget Office.
Cost
Full cost of equipment ordered will be charged to the Fund/Org provided on the order. For details on pricing check the Bulk Buy Flyer found on the Bulk Computer Order Program website.
$100 desktop imaging charge per computer for classrooms and open lab computers. No labor charge for individual standard computer imaging.
Note
Depending on age of computer and/or monitor, additional video cables may be required. This will be determine at time of setup.
Availability
Requests may be submitted at anytime once the program is open, see dates at the top of this page. Delivery of equipment to departments is expected to be in May or June.
Note
Due to ongoing supply chain challenges, we are continuing to experience manufacturing restrictions and delays in equipment shipping. Equipment delivery may be delayed until FY24
