Users can now quickly report suspicious emails using the KnowBe4 Phish Alert button, making it easier to flag potential phishing attempts directly from your Gmail inbox. This initiative empowers the University of Alaska System (UA) Office of Information Technology (OIT) Security team to promptly investigate reported emails, reducing risk, increasing awareness, and strengthening the UA System’s overall protection against cyber threats.
It is best cybersecurity practice NOT to click any links, preview or download attachments, or respond to suspicious emails. Doing so can compromise your security and may result in your UA account being locked to prevent unauthorized access.

Once the confirmation message appears, you can go back to your inbox. The reported email will be moved to your Trash folder and forwarded to UA OIT Security for further review.
For UA Gmail support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Other Support for Google Workspace form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by UAA Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
For immediate assistance, please review the Contact Us page for the appropriate support group.
