Disable CircleIn Tool in a Course in Learning Management System (Blackboard)

Overview

This article is a guide to disabling the CircleIn tool in a course in the Learning Management System (Blackboard).  CircleIn is an app integrated with UA Blackboard Learn that allows students to study remotely with classmates, ask and answer questions about coursework, create flashcards to study for quizzes and exams, post notes, and share resources.

What materials do I need?

• Web browser

How do I disable this tool?

1. Open a web browser
2. Navigate to UA Blackboard Learn
3. Login using your UA Username and password
4. Select a course in your My Courses module
5. On the left-hand side under the Course Management section select Customization
6. Under Customization select Tool Availability
7. Scroll down to UAA CircleIn - Course and uncheck the Available box
8. Click the Submit button
9. Complete the Qualtrics opt-out form
