Access Delegated Exchange Online Account


The simplest means of accessing an Exchange Online (Office 365) email account that you've been granted delegate access to, is through the Office 365 web interface.


What materials do I need?

  • A web browser
  • Your UA Username and Password


How do I use this technology?

  1. Login to your Office 365 @ UA account.
  2. On the left nav bar, click Outlook.

  3. In the upper right corner click the Account Manager icon.

  4. From the drop down menu that appears, click Open another mailbox.

  5. In the Open another mailbox dialog box, enter the email address of the account to open.

    • From the search results, select the appropriate mailbox.

      Be aware if the delegated account is configured to be hidden from the Global Address list, then it will not appear in the search results list; however, you'll still be able to access it by typing the full email address (e.g., and clicking Open.
  6. A new window, or tab, will open with the selected mailbox.
