ADA Accessibility

The ADA Accessibility Team is dedicated to providing accessibility support and accommodations for applicants, employees, and visitors inside and outside of the workplace.

Employee Transitions and Benefits

The Employee Transitions & Benefits Team oversees the administration of university employee benefits and retirement programs. This includes education about benefit options and enrollment, assisting employees with retirement preparation, and providing resources to support the well-being of UA employees.

General HR

HR Customer Service provides services, answer questions, and solve common problems across all HR functional areas. In most cases, they will own a person’s or department’s issue from start to finish.

HR Information Systems

HR Information Systems administers human resources systems and assists users by resolving issues.

Labor and Employee Engagement

The Labor & Employee Engagement Team oversees labor and employee relations while focusing on improving retention, and professional and team development. The Labor Team accomplishes this through contract negotiations, investigations and dispute resolution, coaching and prevention. The team works closely with the HR Business Partners as they ensure campus needs are met. The Labor and Employee Engagement Team helps foster collaborative partnerships for all UA employees to promote a strong and positive organizational culture.

Payroll

The Payroll Department is a part of UA HR where we support all employees and provide solutions related to payroll activities. The Payroll Team provides support on both web timesheets and manual entry timesheets. This requires working knowledge of earnings codes, deduction codes and other items that make up your paycheck, such as child support orders, IRS and other levies, and court-ordered garnishments. Our Team Purpose is to work as a team, sending the right information and money to the right people at the right time.

Personnel

Personnel is the department responsible for making sure that UA HR policies and procedures for employee job changes are followed and that correct data entry is completed so that our employees are paid properly. We work collaboratively with departments throughout the system to identify solutions on complex job change issues and provide training and support to our valuable HR Coordinators.

Talent Acquisition

The Talent Acquisition Team is dedicated to recruiting, hiring, and retaining talented employees to fulfill its UA mission. Talent Acquisition ensures UA provides equitable compensation, an inclusive environment, and resolves accessibility issues.
