Edit Enterprise Service Management Notification Footers

Overview

Each Enterprise Service Management (ESM) ticketing application has a set of notification footer(s) which can be customized with specific content for a department. Notification footers allow additional customization for notifications.

Notification footers include a text footer and an HTML footer, which will be included at the bottom of the email. The former is used when plain-text emails are delivered, while the latter is used for HTML-formatted emails. If an HTML-formatted email is being delivered and HTML footer information is not provided, then the text footer information will be used instead. Notification footers can also include a tracking pixel at the bottom of the email. If this is enabled, then a corresponding Read By entry is created for the item in TeamDynamix when the user reads the email.

How do I use this technology?

  1. Login to ESM TDNext.
  2. Open ticketing app.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Admin.
  5. Click Notification Footers.
  6. Under Ticket click Edit.
  7. Select the Include Tracking Pixel option.
    Important
    When selected, any outbound HTML emails will include a 1x1 tracking pixel, that, when loaded, will record read-by information for the associated ticket.
  8. In the Text Footer field, enter the desired text that will be displayed in footer of every ticket where a plain-text email is sent.
  9. In the HTML Footer field, enter the desired text that will be displayed in the footer of every ticket where a HTML formatted email is sent.
    Tip
    If a HTML Footer is not set, then the content in the Text Footer will be used instead.
  10. Click Save.

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
