Adobe Cloud License

The Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software, and web-based applications is available through a centrally managed University of Alaska system license agreement. Departments can purchase licenses from this agreement for use by Staff, Faculty, and Students, whether for administrative duties, or academic work. The suite includes over twenty individual applications that allow you to edit video and audio, process digital images, create single and multi-page layouts, render 3D objects, and many more.

  • Photoshop
  • Premiere Pro

Requirements

  • Active UA Identity/Account
  • Device with access to the Internet
  • Device with a Web browser, suggested browsers are, Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari
  • A computer meeting the minimum requirements for the selected application(s)

Cost

The cost of the application is paid for departments. Licenses purchased after the start of the contract period will be prorated through the end of our subscription period (which is August). An example for this would be; if a person requests a (1) software license in January, then the cost for that license for the eight (8) months remaining on the contract period would be about $120.34. At the start of the next contract period, the license(s) would be renewed at the normal price. The license(s) will be automatically renewed each fiscal year at the requesting department's expense, unless IT receives a ticket prior to July 1 requesting the cancellation of some, or all, of the department's license renewal.

      • Student (academic work): $151.90 person/year
      • Employee (staff, faculty, adj. faculty, and student employee): $269.51 person/year
      • Employee (staff, faculty, adj. faculty, and student employee) Adobe Acrobat Pro only: $115.08 person/year
  • License Type: Per Device (Only under special circumstances when there is a a single device used by multiple people that all need access to the software)
    • Cost (any): Will be determined at time of purchase.

Availability

This software has a cloud component, but is primarily installed on the desktop. Any app can be installed if they install the Creative Cloud App already installed on the computer.

UAA IT Services and UA Office of Information Technology. For support, requests may be submitted anytime via the links on the right side of this page. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and priority by the IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
