Email

The University of Alaska (UA) provides free email to all students, faculty, and staff. The email service includes webmail and IMAP/POP3 email access for desktop clients as well as handheld devices.

Requirements

• Must have a valid "@alaska.edu" account. Affiliated guests who do not exist in the university system must be sponsored by an affiliated faculty or staff, and have a guest account created.

Cost

Email is provide to the UA community at no cost to the individual.

Availability

Service is available 24 hours per day. Exceptions include: scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages.

Supported By

This service is maintained and supported by UAA IT Services. Requests for support may be submitted anytime via the Request Support button on the right side of this page. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by the IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
