PDF Reader and Editor

A PDF Reader (e.g. Foxit PDF Reader, Adobe Acrobat Reader) allows you to view, annotate and fill out form-fill PDF documents.

To fully edit and modify PDF documents, you will need a PDF Editor (e.g. Foxit PDF Editor, Adobe Acrobat Pro) which also has all of the same options as a PDF Reader included.

Requirements

• Active UA Identity/Account
• Computer with the minimum requirements for the selected application(s) and access to the internet

Cost

• Foxit PDF Reader and Foxit PDF Pro are available through a centrally managed University of Alaska license agreement and available at no cost to university staff, faculty, and students.
• Adobe Acrobat Reader is available at no cost to university staff, faculty, and students. 
• Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud are available to staff, faculty, student employees with a department sponsor, and students with a department sponsor. These are paid software license options centrally negotiated and managed to offer a significant cost savings for departments and eligible persons needing features beyond what is available from other options.

Availability

The software is installed and run on a computer or compatible device.
