Alum Email Extension

UA email accounts expire three semesters (one year) after the last day of the last semester of attendance. Year-old student accounts expire semesterly. However, UAA Alumni who have earned 12 or more credits, a certificate, or a degree from UAA may request a lifetime extension to use their UA email (@alaska.edu) account.

Requirements

Earned 12 or more credits, a certificate, or a degree from UAA, including its community campuses outside of the main Anchorage campus. To verify this information by looking at your unofficial transcript in UAOnline or contact the UAA Office of the Registrar. For instruction on how to find your unoffical Transcript in UAOnline you can follow the instructions in the KB Article Find Your transcripts.

Cost

The University of Alaska Anchorage provides this service for free.

Availability

Requests for this service may be submitted anytime via the Request button on the right side of this page. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by the IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
