Add Items to My Work Queue

Overview

This article will help individuals to add items to their My Work within the Enterprise Service Management system.

What materials do I need?

  • Internet access
  • Valid University of Alaska (UA) Identity
  • Access to ESM Work Management
  • Access to one, or more, ESM Ticketing and/or Project application

How do I use this technology?

  1. Login to ESM Work Management.
  2. Click View Applications.
  3. Click My Work.
  4. Click either My Assignments or My Approvals.
  5. If you want to group, sort, or filter the work items by project, use the drop-down and checkbox fields at the top.
  6. In the list of work items, click the green + My Work link below the item you want to move.
  7. Click My Work to see the item in your active work queue.
    Tip
    If it does not appear, click Refresh.

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
