Delete Attachment from Project Announcement

Overview

In the scenario where an attachment was incorrectly added to a project announcement within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) system, it can be easily deleted by any of the project's participants. The following article will provide guidance on how to delete the undesired attachment on a project announcement.

What materials do I need?

  • Internet connectivity
  • Web Browser
  • Assigned as a participant to the project

How do I use this technology?

Attachments on Project Announcements can be removed either through the TDNext interface, or via the Service Portal.

TDWorkManagement

  1. Login to ESM TDWorkManagement.
  2. Click View Applications.
  3. Click Projects.
  4. Open the appropriate Project.
  5. The Project will open in a new application tab.
  6. From the left sub navigation, click Announcements.
  7. Click the title of the appropriate announcement in the list to open the announcement in a side panel.
  8. The attachment(s) will appear within a table on the right of the Announcement Detail window.
  9. Click Delete under the attachment you’d like to delete.
  10. Click OK in the confirmation popup.

Service Portal

  1. In the Service Portal, click the Projects tab.
  2. Click the name of the appropriate Project.
  3. In the project navigation menu, click Announcements.
  4. Click the title of the appropriate announcement in the list.
  5. Scroll down to find the Attachments box on the right-side of the screen. All attachment(s) linked to the announcement will appear within the box.
  6. Click Delete under the attachment you'd like to remove from the Announcement.
  7. In the Are you sure you want to delete this attachment? dialog window click Ok.
