Disable HonorLock in Learning Management System (Blackboard) Original Course

Overview

Honorlock’s exam proctoring software monitors each student’s exam session and alerts a live, US-based test proctor if it detects any potential problems. This guide is to help show Faculty how to disable Honorlock in a test in their Learning Management System (Blackboard) Original Course.

What materials do I need?

  • Chrome Web Browser 
  • UA Username 
  • Current UA password
  • Instructor Access to Blackboard course

Next Steps

  1. Login to Learning Management System (Blackboard)
    Learning Management System (Blackboard) log in page
  2. Click on the course with the HonorLock tool
  3. Navigate to the Content Area of the Blackboard Original course shell

     
  4. Select the Arrow Icon next to the test that is to be disabled
    Test to disbale Honorlock
     
  5. Select Edit the Test Options

  6. In the Honorlock section, Scroll to the bottom of the Honorlock settings and click Disable
    honorlock setting to disbale red button
     
  7. Click Submit
    submitt button in Blk brd testing options
