Students, faculty, and staff are allocated a standard amount of storage at no cost via either OneDrive for Business, or Google Drive. Academic and administrative departments, student groups and organizations, and researchers needing storage options which further collaboration, and ensures content remains associated with the respective group even as individual members change over time, are encourage to use one of the group oriented storage solutiosn such as Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, Google Shared Drive, or an On-prem File Share.

Cost

The standard file storage options using Google Drive, Google Shared Drive, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, and On-Prem File Shares are offered at no cost to UAA students, staff, and faculty as applicable. Custom storage solutions for UAA organizations, or departments to accommodate high-performance computing, large research data sets, custom security, or other requirements can be provided, with cost based upon the amount and type of storage allocated.

This service is provided by UAA IT Services. Requests for this service may be submitted anytime via the Request button on the right side of this page. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by the IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
