Change ESM Project Requestor

Overview

Information on how to change a project requestor for project requests within the Enterprise Service Management system.

Warning
Changing the requestor will transfer ownership of the project request to the selected user. The old requestor may not be able to access this request after this change.

What materials do I need?

  • Internet connectivity
  • Web browser
  • ESM Project Application Administrator, or ESM Enterprise Administrator role

How do I use this technology?

  1. In TDWorkManagement, click View Applications.
  2. Click the name of the desired project application.
  3. In the project application, click the settings (i.e. sprocket icon) button.
  4. Click Admin.
  5. Click Project Requests.
  6. Locate the desired project request.
  7. Click on the project request's name.
  8. The project request will open in a new browser window/tab.
  9. Click Action.
  10. Click Change Requestor.
  11. In the New Requestor field enter the UA username of the person to select.
    Important
    Selection of a new requestor will be restricted to those individuals whose Client Portal security role has the Submit Project Requests permission.
  12. In the Comment field enter a brief reason why the requestor is being changed.
  13. Click Change Requestor.
  14. Close the Project Request window/tab.

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
