Create and Apply Override hours to Hours of Operation in Amazon Connect

Overview

Amazon Connect is a cloud-based contact center service utilized by the University of Alaska, Anchorage (UAA) as our Contact Centers. This article provides instructions on how to create and apply override hours to hours of operations in UAA's Contact Center, Amazon Connect.

How do I use this technology?

  1. Log into Amazon Connect
  2. In Applications, select the Amazon Connect instance.

  3. Select the Routing (Flow Connect icon) and Select Hours of Operation

  4. Select the Name of hours to add the override
    Name of Hours of Operation
     
  5. Scroll down to the Overrides section

  6. Click + Add new override. A new window will appear

  7. Enter the Name and Description
    Override Name and Description
     
  8. In the Date Range, put in the days the call center is closed
    Date Range of Closure
     
  9. Click Apply
    Override Save Button
     
  10. Click Save
    Override Save Button
     
  11. New Override shows in the Overrides section, under Name of Override

  12. Click Save
