Overview
Issues are smaller concerns or questions about a project that are noted along the life-cycle of a project. This article will guide project members on how to update the status of an issue on a project managed within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) system.
How do I use this technology?
To update an issue's status:
- In TDWorkManagement, open the Projects application.
- Click the appropriate Project in the left navigation.
- From the left sub navigation, click Issues.
- Click the Title link of the issue you’d like to update.
- Click the Actions button.
- Click Update.
- In the New Status dropdown menu, select the appropriate value.
- Optionally, enter, or change, the Responsible group/person.
- Optionally, enter, or change, a Time Type, Hours, and Date.
- In the Comments field enter a succinct description regarding the update.
- Optionally, select individual(s) to notify in the Notification, Notify Other People and/or Other Email Addresses field(s).
- Click Save.
- Close the Issue popover window.
Need additional help or have issues
For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
