Add and Delete Issue Attachment

Overview

Issues are smaller concerns or questions about a project that are noted along the life-cycle of a project. This article will guide project members on how to add, or remove, attachment(s) to an issue on a project managed within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) system.

How do I use this technology?

To add or delete an attachment:

  1. In TDWorkManagement, open the Projects application.
  2. Click the appropriate Project in the left navigation.
  3. From the left sub navigation, click Issues.
  4. Click the Title of the desired Issue.
  5. The Issue Detail window will open.
    • To add an attachment to an issue:
      1. Click Add
      2. Click Attachment.
      3. In the Add Attachments dialog select the attachment location (e.g. from your computerfrom Google Drive, from OneDrive for Business).
      4. Proceed through the rest of the steps to locate, and select the desired document to attach. The exact steps will vary based upon which option was selected.
      5. Click Upload.
      6. If you’d like to add more attachments, repeat the above steps.
      7. When finished, click the close button.
    • To delete an attachment from an issue:
      1. Under the Attachments section on the issue, locate the desired attachment to be removed.
      2. Click the Delete button below the attachment's name.
      3. In the confirmation dialog that appears, click Ok.

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
