Overview
A ticket task can be edited to change the below fields for the task.
- Title
- Predecessor
- Start Date
- End Date
- Description
- Estimated Hours
- Complete Within
Important
In most cases a Ticket Task should be
Updated instead of edited.
What materials do I need?
- Internet connectivity
- A web browser
- Privileges within the UA ESM system to one, or more ticketing application(s)
How do I use this technology?
- Open the Ticket containing the tasks you need to edit.
- Click the Tasks/Activities tab in the menu bar.
- From the list of tasks associated with the ticket, click the Edit button below the task you want to edit.
- An Edit Ticket Task window will open.
- Update the appropriate fields.
- Click Save at the top of the window.
- After the update has completed saving, close the Ticket Task window.
Need additional help or have issues
For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
