Get Started with Email at University of Alaska

Overview

All students, faculty, and staff receive a university provided email account. This account is used by the university to provide important information to students and is used by faculty and staff to conduct university business. In addition to email, additional companion services are available including calendar and cloud document storage services.

The University of Alaska's primary email, and calendaring service is provided by Google Workspace @ UA. UAA faculty, and staff that require the use of a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) compliant email account should submit a request to the IT Services Technical Support Center.

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime by Requesting Support for the Email service. Support Requests are worked by Priority based on the Impact and Urgency of need as well as the order they are received by the IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
