Sign In to Enterprise Service Management

Overview

Anyone may browse the UA Enterprise Service Management (ESM) service catalog, and public knowledge base articles; however, in most cases only individuals affiliated with the University of Alaska system (i.e. student, staff, faculty, etc.) may submit a ticket through the ESM service. The following will provide guidance on how to login to the ESM system with your UA identity.

What materials do I need?

  • Internet Access
  • Web browser
  • An active University of Alaska identity

How do I use this technology?

  1. In a web browser, access the ESM service portal at https://service.alaska.edu/TDClient/
     
    Important
    You will be redirected to the University of Alaska Entra ID sign in page.

  2. When prompted, enter your UA Identity (i.e. your full UA email address, UaUsername@alaska.edu), then click Next.

  3. At the Enter password prompt, enter your UA password, and then click Sign in.

  4. You will next be asked if you'd like to Stay signed in? If you are using a public, or potentially insecure, computer click No, otherwise click yes.

  5. An ESM Service Portal home page will be displayed.
     
    Important
    Every active UA student, staff, and faculty will be assigned one of the active ESM Service Portals as their primary portal based upon which Major Administrative Unit (MAU) they are primarily associated with; however, you can easily Switch Between Service Portals.

Need additional help or have issues

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Service form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by UAA Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
