Overview
A Dashboard within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) system is a display area that contains reports, lists of assignments, tickets, and other valuable information.

Create a Dashboard
Home Dashboard
- Login to ESM.
- On the Home tab in the upper right corner, click + New Dashboard.
- In the New Dashboard window, do the following.
- In the Name field enter a descriptive name of the new Dashboard.
- Optionally; however, recommended, in the Description field enter a brief summary as to the purpose of the dashboard.
- Click Save.
- Wait while the shell of the new Dashboard is created.
- Once completed, proceed to the Edit Dashboard section below.
Application Dashboard
- Login to ESM.
- Click View Applications.
- Click the desired application.
- On the Application Dashboard click Edit Dashboard.
- The Edit <Application Name> Dashboard screen will appear. Proceed to the Edit Dashboard section below.
Edit Dashboard
Each dashboard is comprised of one, or more, rows with layouts customizable by row, and widgets.
Important
You will only be able to edit/change Dashboards that you have created. You will not be able to edit any Dashboards which have been created by someone else, and shared/linked with you.
- Go to the desired Dashboard.
- In the upper right section of the screen click Edit Dashboard.
- Click the Edit Dashboard Settings (gear) button.
- In the Dashboard Settings dialog window, select Auto-Refresh.
- Click Save.
- For Row X click Change Row Layout.
- Click the desired layout for the selected row, the Change Row Layout window will automatically close.
Tip
If you change a row's layout which removes a column that contains widgets you will be prompted with a dialog box asking you to confirm that you want to remove the column and its associated widgets.
- Additional rows can be added by clicking the Add Row button.
Add Widget to a Dashboard
Once you have added the desired row(s), widgets can be added to the layout.
- On the desired Row click either + Add Widget, Add Widget Above, or Add Widget Below button.
- A list of widgets you have access to will be displayed. These may include reports, system default widgets, static content (e.g. column headers), and more.
- Scroll or Search for the desired widget.
- When the desired widget is found, click the widget to added it to the row.
- Close the Edit Desktop window.
Remove a Widget from a Dashboard
You can remove a widget from a Dashboard while creating or editing.
- In the Edit Dashboard window, find the desired widget.
- Click the Remove Widget button on the top-right side of the widget.
When all desired edits have been made, click Save.

For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
