Only Enterprise Administrators within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) system are able to create shareable Desktops at this time. They can create a Desktop Template and assign it to any number of individuals within the system. When they share a desktop with individuals they can choose to link the desktop to the template or not. If a linked desktop is added to person the individual is unable to edit the desktop within TDNext, and the desktop will automatically reflect any changes made to the desktop template.
If an App Admin, department manager, or department employee would like to share a Desktop configuration with others, they can take a screenshot or print-to-PDF a copy of the desktop and submit a Enterprise Service Management request to have the Enterprise Administrators re-create the Desktop as a Desktop Template. The template can then be shared with specified individuals or groups.
For support, requests may be submitted anytime using the appropriate Enterprise Service Management form. Requests generate a Ticket which will be worked in order received and urgency by IT Employees with the knowledge and permissions to assist with the request.
For immediate assistance please review the Contact Us page for the appropriate support group.
