Install Cisco Jabber on macOS

Overview

This article will walk you through the steps need to successfully install the Cisco Jabber application on a computer running macOS.

 

Important
Before you can login to Jabber, your campus phone line must be configured for Jabber use. See Get Started with Cisco Jabber.
Cisco Jabber can only be installed from the Software Center. If they do not have a UAA-managed device, they will need to have the line forwarded to a personal phone.

  • Your campus phone line must be configured for Jabber use.

 

How do I use this technology?

 

  1. Open Kandji Self Services in Launchpad
  2. Install Cisco Jabber.

 

Next Steps

You can send, and receive telephone calls to your university assigned phone number. You can also check your voice mail.
