Overview
Editing a Ticket allows you to change information in any fields that are not read only or disabled. This includes such field as the Form that is behind the Ticket.
Note
Editing a ticket should only be done to change the Form behind the Ticket or to move information from old fields to new fields. The moving of data from old to new fields should only be done to cleanup after the consolidation of custom attributes.
Tip
In many cases it is better to
Update a Ticket, instead of editing a ticket to documenting efforts done in course of working a ticket.
